NEW ORLEANS - The person last seen with Terrilyn Monette has been identified and was interviewed by detectives.

Surveillance footage from that evening has been reviewed, but a police spokesman said they cannot comment on the contents because of the ongoing investigation.

Police said they do not believe that Monette ever made it back to her apartment.

Her car was not equipped with any kind of tracking device such as OnStar or LoJack. This was determined on the night she was reported missing.

Police said they have learned that her cellular phone stopped functioning four hours before she disappeared. When it stopped working, she was at Parlay's, and it has not come on since.

Detectives have worked this investigation twenty-four hours per day since she was reported missing and all resources are being used to investigate this disappearance.

The case remains under investigation.
