NEW ORLEANS -- Police are also investigating three early morning shootings, one in the French Quarter and two in New Orleans East that sent three men to the hospital.
Around 3 a.m., near the intersection of Decatur and Toulouse streets, a 20-year-old man was shot in the hand. He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Around 2 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 7200 block of Chef Menteur Highway. The male victim was taken to the hospital.
Just after 1 a.m., a male victim was shot in the 4400 block of Laine Avenue, according to police.
Police have not released information on the condition of the two victims in the New Orleans East shootings.
