NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The New Orleans Police Department has released a sketch of a man they believe was involved in the murder of a 45-year-old man during an armored car robbery at Claiborne and Carrollton Avenues on December 18, 2013.

The person of interest is described as an African-American male, approximately 21 to 35-years-old with a brown complexion, and an unshaven face. Police say he has acne scars or pit marks on his face and has unkempt dread locks that fall one inch below his shoulders. He was also last seen wearing a black jacket.

Hector Trochez was unloading money from a Loomis armored vehicle around 10:45 a.m. on December 18, when three men fatally shot him and fled with cash.

A second guard in the vehicle was unharmed.

If you can help police find this person of interest, you are urged to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
