NEW ORLEANS -- Police have named two suspects wanted in connection with a double shooting in Hollygrove Thursday.

Detectives have identified Bernard Baker, 22, and Earl Green, 26, according to the New Orleans Police Department, "as the perpetrators of the crime."  

Around 3:30 p.m. Thursday,  a toddler and her father were hit by gunfire during a daylight shooting. According to police, the father and his daughter were in a vehicle in the 8800 block of Earhart Boulevard when Baker and Green allegedly pulled along side in a sliver-colored SUV and opened fire.  

According to the NOPD, a toddler between the ages of two and four was hit in the arm and her father, a 26-year-old man, was hit in the side of his body. Both are expected to recover from the shootings.
