NEW ORLEANS – Police have identified a suspect in the slaying of a teenager over the weekend.

An 18-year-old man, whom police have not been identified, was shot and killed Saturday around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Dodt Street, said NOPD spokesman Officer Garry Flot.

Flot said detectives have pinpointed 42-year-old Kenneth White, of 3101 Hamilton St., as the suspect in the case. Flot said White is believed to be armed and “extremely dangerous.”

White’s warrant is for second-degree murder.

If you know anything about White’s whereabouts, call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
