NEW ORLEANS ― Violence overnight claimed the lives of two young men in New Orleans and police are searching for their killers.
A 24-year-old man was shot to death at the intersection of Caffin Avenue and North Robertson Street just after midnight. Police found the victim lying in the street.
A few hours before that murder, another man was shot to death. Officers found the 20-year-old victim lying on the front porch of his home in the 1800 block of Alvar.
He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene.
So far, police do not have a motive or suspect for either of these murders.
