NEW ORELANS -- New Orleans police are investigating two shootings late Wednesday night, one in New Orleans East and the other in the 7th Ward.
The first shooting happened after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Crowder Boulevard and the I-10 Service Road.
NOPD spokeswoman Hilal Williams said a man was shot multiple times in front of a store at that location.
The other shooting happened around 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of N. Derbigny and Lapeyrouse streets.
Williams said the victim was shot while inside of his vehicle.
Police haven't released any information on a possible suspect or a motive in either case. They have not identified the victims.
