NEW ORLEANS -- A missing New Orleans Police Department officer has been found in the Baton Rouge area, according to the NOPD.
Bryant Louis, 47, who was reported missing earlier this week was found on Thanksgiving, according to police.
Louis was reported missing by police and last seen Sunday around 4 p.m., according to the NOPD. He was last seen leaving his home in the 6300 block of Essex Court in Algiers.
According to police, Louis has not been "seen nor heard from since" Sunday, which was "uncharacteristic" of Louis.
Colleagues grew concerned after Louis didn't show up for work.
Officer Frank Robertson, of the NOPD's Public Information Office, said the department is praying for Louis' well-being and safe return.
Louis works in the NOPD's property room.
Louis is described as an African-American male, approximately 5’8” tall, weighing around 200 pounds.
According to police, Bryant may possibly be in the Baton Rouge area driving a red 2004 Dodge Ram pick-up truck with the license plate number W971803.
