NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police have released a composite sketch of a man wanted for a home invasion in the Treme.

The incident happened 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of N. Rocheblave Street.

According to a police spokesperson, the victims were sitting on their porch when the subject of the sketch approached them with a gun and demanded their "property."

The gunman led the victims inside the home, at which point an accomplice of the suspect appeared. The two told the victims to get on the floor. They then "ransacked and burglarized the home," according to police.

The man pictured in the sketch is in his late 20s, is 5'9" to 6'0" tall and weighs about 190 pounds with a muscular build and dark complexion. He was wearing a dark t-shirt, dark colored jeans and possibly white sneakers.

The second man -- police do not have a sketch of him -- is a black man, 15 to 20 years old, and weighs about 90 to 100 pounds with a skinny build and medium complexion. He had a white t-shirt wrapped around his face and was wearing a red or white tank top and oversized jean shorts.

If you can identify either man, or if you know their identities, call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
