NEW ORLEANS - Police released photos of three men they say attacked a man last Saturday following the Red Dress Run in the French Quarter. The attack left the victim with a broken nose and temporary loss of consciousness, police said.
The suspects allegedly attacked a man in the courtyard of a club on Bourbon Street, according to police. The victim had also participated in the run, police said, and was standing in the courtyard, using his cell phone when he was attacked.
The victim was pushed and head-butted by one of the men, before pulling his alleged attacker to the ground, where he was attacked further, police said.
The first suspect, who allegedly instigated the attack, was described as a white male, who wore white sunglasses on his head and a red bandana tied around his neck. He has a tattoo in the center of his upper back, police said.
The second male suspect was wearing a red strapless dress, having participated in the run as well. Police said the second man took part in the attack once the victim pulled the first attacker to the ground.
A third man was also with the alleged attackers but did not participate in the fight, police said. He was wearing a red baseball cap, red and white plaid button-down shirt and white shorts. Police released his description with the hope that it would lead to the two suspects.
Anyone with information on the attack or the suspects is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111. You could earn a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
