NEW ORLEANS - An Uptown man who was found dead in his backyard Sunday died of natural causes, according to the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office.
New Orleans Police Department officers were called to the scene in the 4100 block of Baronne Street Sunday afternoon. There, investigators found the body of a 50-year-old man in the backyard of a home.
After completing the autopsy, an official from the coroner's office said that the man died of natural causes, though didn't specify.
According to police, a husband and wife at the location became involved in an altercation. The wife went to bed and the husband went out in the yard to drink. When the woman woke up later, she found her husband in the back yard deceased.
