A man on trial for the murder of a Ponchatoula 60-year-old has been found not guilty.

Ronnie Cummings was arrested for second degree murder and arson in connection with Aubra Fontenot's death in February 2010. Fontenot was found dead and burned in his home.

Prosecutors argued Cummings killed Fontentot, while trying to rob him, then burned his body and home, but jurors didn't buy it after three days of testimony.

Cummings spent two years behind bars awaiting trial.
