NEW ORLEANS -- The family of a murdered New Orleans man hopes that an increase in a reward will finally bring his killer to justice.
Back in 2004 John MacLellan was shot and killed during a robbery near the intersection of Bellaire Drive and W. Harrison Avenue.
Since then the victim's father, Dave MacLellan, had made it his mission to solve his son's case.
But a couple of weeks ago, Dave MacLellan died.
An anonymous donor heard of his death and decided to donate another $5,000 to his cause -- a cause that John MacLellan's siblings say won't be in vain.
