Roads in Tangipahoa closed

Due to the heavy rain, certian road in Tangipahoa Parish are closed.

According to parish officials, the following roads are currently closed due to flooding: Briar Patch Cemetary Rd., School Rd., Hayden Rd., Bryce Hyde Rd., B. Brown Rd., Singing Waterfalls Rd., E. Lewiston Rd., N. Jackson Rd., Neal Rd.,
Brab Alford Rd., Chappepeela Rd. Pairsh officials advise that residents avoid driving in these areas until the flooding subsides. 

If you see additional standing water, please do not drive through it.  Instead, notify parish public works at 985-748-3211.
