METAIRIE, La. — Running back Darren Sproles  returned to practice Wednesday, his first session since breaking his left hand in the Saints’ Oct. 28 loss at Denver.

He was limited, meaning he went through team drills but didn’t take his regular amount of repetitions, but acting head coach Joe Vitt said he “looked good” in practice.

Meanwhile, rookie cornerback Corey White (knee) and starting right tackle Zach Strief (left groin) didn’t practice. Strief continues his recovery from sports hernia surgery and could miss another 2-3 weeks.  Additionally, defensive end Junior Galette (left ankle) didn’t practice.
