Search suspended for missing oil platform worker

NEW ORLEANS -- Black Elk Energy has suspended its search and rescue effort for the missing maintenance worker.

Jerome Malgapo went missing after Friday's platform fire. Malgapo is a worker from the Philippines

Black Elk Energy issued this statement:

"We will continue to remain focused on the victims and their families, including those injured in the incident. An official investigation is underway and we will continue to cooperate with all authorities as this process develops."

The body of Elroy Corporal, 42, was found over the weekend. Eleven people in all were sent to the hospital because of the incident.
