NEW ORLEANS -- Willis “Lil Brother” Turner, accused of attempted murder and confined to jail, kept showing up in court falling-down stoned.

He did it again Monday for a hearing on his request for release under rules requiring speedy trials. Turner needed help from deputies just to get into the courtroom upright.

“This is the third time that I have had this defendant here, and he can’t even walk,” Orleans Parish Criminal District Court Judge Frank Marullo said.
