NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police and Jefferson Parish deputies worked four separate shootings that left five people injured and one person dead Tuesday night.

In the first shooting before 6:30 p.m., three people were shot in Hollygrove near the intersection of Hollygrove and Peach.

Police said the three victims suffered from non-life threatening injuries.

New Orleans police also investigated a shooting in the Bywater around 8 p.m.  One man was shot in the 4000 block of Chartres Street. His condition was unknown.

On the West Bank in Jefferson Parish at about 9 p.m., another shooting happened in the 900 block of Beechgrove Boulevard. The man shot at that location received non-life threatening injuries.

Then, around 9:30 p.m., a man was shot in the 12000 block of the North I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East. He died at the hospital after being shot in the back.

Authorities haven't released any information on possible suspect or motives in any of these shootings.
