JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — Three men were arrested for what the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office believes were roles in 13 counts of burglary and attempted burglary, authorities said Tuesday.

Hector Castillo, 17, and Ricky Tolliver, 21, were picked up after deputies were dispatched to check on two attempted burglaries in the Park Place subdivision of Terrytown.

The officers said they spotted two individuals, later identified as Castillo and Tolliver, near the intersection of Goodson Drive and Guardian Avenue.

The two were stopped when deputies connected the possibility that they could be involved in several recent residential and business burglaries, JPSO Col. John Fortunato said.

The two led deputies to a home on East Monterey Court, where deputies began questioning 19-year-old Isaac Harris, Fortunato said. Harris was identified as a third person involved in the burglaries.

After being allowed to search the house, deputies found items they believed to be stolen during recent burglaries, Fortunato said.

All three admitted to being a party in some of the burglaries, Fortunato said.
