HARVEY, La. -- Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies are searching for suspects in a double murder Saturday evening in Harvey.
Deputies found the two male victims about 7 p.m. in the 2300 block of Broadway Avenue, according to Sgt. Larry Dyess, a sheriff's spokesman.
One victim was pronounced dead on the scene while a second man was transported to a hospital, where he died later, Dyess said.
Dyess identified the victims as 31-year-old Andre Paul and 32-year-old Carl Windom.
Homicide detectives located several spent shell casings on the scene and are continuing to investigate. Authorities ask anyone with information in the case to contact the sheriff's office at (504) 364-5300 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
