Two missing teens, infant found safe

SLIDELL, La. – Two missing teens and an 8-day-old baby are now at home and in good health, according to Slidell Police Capt. Kevin Foltz.

A 16-year-old and a 14-year-old went missing Tuesday along with the 14-year-old’s 8-day-old daughter.

Foltz said Monique Chestnut, the mother of the 14-year-old, found the three at Le Maison Whitney Apartment Complex in Jefferson Parish. Chestnut then took them to the Slidell Police Department to let them know the children had been found.

The 16-year-old was released to her mother, Foltz said, and the baby was released to Chestnut.

The 14-year-old was charged with unauthorized use of a moveable.

Those teens are on the wrong track!

Simply put dears, put the jerk in jail. Read the laws relative to statutory rape: Felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile is sexual intercourse with consent between (1) someone age 19 or older and someone between age 12 and 17 or (2) someone age 17 or older and someone between age 12 and 15. Misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile is sexual intercourse with consent between someone age 17 to 19 and someone age 15 to 17 when the difference in their ages is greater than two years. Put the jerk in jail. The parents should have known where their 13 year old daughter was when she was being impregnated by the father of the innocent child. It is the chilld that will suffer.

A 14 yo with a baby??? They should both the 14 yr old and her mother/father, in jail for just breathing. Castrate the baby's daddy and put the baby up for adoption. That's insane. The World According to ME!! Any questions??

A child giving birth to a child. She must have begun having sex at who knows what age? The baby can mean no more to her than a baby doll to play with. How can this newborn possibly have a chance in life? No wonder that so many children are raised by grandmothers and aunts. Depressing story.
