LONG BEACH, Miss. (AP) — Long Beach police say a 25-year-old Louisiana man is accused of injuring his 12-week-old son.
Police Chief Wayne McDowell tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/1p0yiOB ) Nathan Donald Burleson, of Westwego, Louisiana, was arrested Thursday on a felony charge of child abuse stemming from a Jan. 25 incident at his then-home in Long Beach.
Burleson is held at the Harrison County jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner.
Details about the how the baby was injured were not released.
It was unclear whether Burleson has an attorney.
