NEW ORLEANS - Rodney Williams, the contractor who admitted bribing former New Orleans Mayor Ray nagin will have to wait a little longer to find out how long he'll have to spend behind bars. Williams had sentencing delayed Friday.
Back in 2012, Williams pleaded guilty to bribery and conspiracy charges involving $72,000 that he and his business associates paid to Nagin for City Hall contracts.
He was also the first government witness to take the stand during Nagin's corruption trial that ultimately ended with the former mayor being convicted on 20 counts.
Williams' sentencing is now set for july 30th
