BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- AT&T will hold job fairs in Baton Rouge and Metairie Saturday.
Sue Sperry, an AT&T spokeswoman, tells The Advocate the company has a need for technicians.
Growth of the U-verse digital TV service in Baton Rouge and Jefferson and St. Tammany parishes has created a demand for technicians to help with home installations of the service. And there is a need for wire technicians to work on telephone lines.
The job fairs will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the AT&T offices at 3854 American Way in Baton Rouge and 3300 West Esplanade Ave. in Metairie. Managers will be available at both locations to interview, test and hire candidates on the spot.
Candidates do not need prior experience or training.
