NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans will soon be getting a nice economic boost.
Costco, the wholesale giant, said it will build a store on Carrollton at the I-10. It will be the first in Louisiana.
The company plans to build a new 148,000 square foot warehouse on the site of the old Carrollton Shopping Center.
About 200 full time and part time jobs are expected to be created.
The store is projected to open by 2013.
