NEW ORLEANS -- Two people are in the hospital after a shooting Monday night in New Orleans.
NOPD spokeswoman Officer Hilal Williams said the victims showed up at the hospital injured around 9:15 p.m. They reportedly took a private vehicle.
While police aren't positive on the location, Williams said initial reports had the shooting near the intersection of Carrollton and Washington avenues. They are working to determine an exact location.
One of the victims has a gunshot wound to the shoulder blade, and the other has a graze wound to the neck. Their conditions are unknown.
No word from police on a possible suspect or motive.
