NEW ORLEANS -- Two people who may have information into the shooting death of 11-year-old Arabian Gayles have turned themselves in to police, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Police say 20-year-old Romalis Williams and 17-year-old Ronell Martin are persons of interest in the case.

NOPD spokeswoman Officer Hilal Williams said Williams and Martin are not suspects, but may have information in Arabian's death.

Gayles' cousin, Paulreiona Cary, 11, was also shot in the arm and elbow. A 38-year-old man survived a gunshot wound to the back while walking outside.

Arabian’s funeral is set for Sept. 14 at Prayer Tower Church in Christ on Willow Street. You can make a donation toward her funeral expenses at any Whitney Bank.

If you have any information that could lead to the shooters, call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-111. You don’t have to leave your name and could get a $5,000 cash reward.
