TERRYTOWN, La. -- Four people have been arrested and two men are wanted in connection with the murder of two brothers in Terrytown Monday, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
Lavelle Harrell, Joshua Parker, Kentaz Gayden, and Courtney Price were arrested by the sheriff's office in connection with the murder of Jonas and Ronald Perrier, according to Col. John Fortunato.
The brothers were fatally shot in the 900 block of East Monterey Court. Two men -- David Samuels and Andrew Johnson -- remain at large and are considered armed and dangerous, said a statement from the sheriff's office.
"Witnesses informed investigators that Harrell, Parker and Samuels were seen shooting the Perrier brothers and fleeing afterwards," said a statement from Fortunato. "Johnson was an active participant who drove the getaway vehicle which Harrell, Parker and Samuels got into and fled." Gayden was also at the scene of the shooting, witnesses said.
Harrell, Parker, Samuels and Johnson could face second-degree murder charges, while Gayden and Price face accesory after the fact to second-degree murder charges.
According to investigators, the shooting of Perrier brothers may be in retaliation to an earlier shooting in Terrytown.
