NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are investigating a shooting that left three people injured Monday night in the Irish Channel.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Annunciation Street and Washington Avenue. Two men were found at that location, one with a gunshot wound to the leg and the other to the head and chest area.
Another man was found with a gunshot wound to the hand in the 2000 block of Second Street.
NOPD spokeswoman Hilal Williams said police are investigating whether the two incidents are related.
There's no word on a possible suspect or motive.
