NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are investigating a shooting in Algiers that left a man dead, according to NOPD spokesman Officer Garry Flot.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Teche Street.
The suspect approached a 30-year-old man outside of a bar and began firing, police said.
Officials found the man shot multiple times and lying on the sidewalk.
There is no word from police on a possible suspect or motive.
