NEW ORLEANS -- Former male model Dean Kelly who is accused of rape and kidnapping was released from prison on a $1.5 million bond Tuesday evening.
Kelly faces several rape charges, including an alleged incident involving a 14-year-old girl. Kelly has been in jail since being arrested March 2011 for an alleged rape back in 2005.
Kelly had to surrender his passport before making bond, and he is under 24-hour home incarceration, according to the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office website. He also must wear an electronic-monitoring bracelet.
No trial date has been set for Kelly, but he has a pre-trial conference scheduled for Oct. 1.
