FBI: Man arrested for 2012 shooting in Jefferson Parish

NEW ORLEANS -- Authorities from multiple police agencies arrested a man for a shooting in December 2012, according to Mary Beth Romig, spokesperson for the FBI.

Around 7:15 a.m., members of the New Orleans Police Department, Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, State Police and Kenner Police arrested Daniel Bryant in New Orleans.

Bryant, according to the FBI, was arrested at a hourse in the 1600 block of Frenchmen Street.  He was wanted by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office for four counts of attempted second-degree murder.  Bryant had a loaded 9mm handgun on him when he was picked up.

He was taken to the Orleans Parish Prison and is awaiting exradiction to Jefferson Parish.
