GRETNA, La. -- Police are looking for two men who took over $100,000 that was inside a vehicle in a February burglary, according to a statement from Gretna Police.

The burglary occurred on Feb. 11 around 12 p.m. in the 500 block of Gretna Boulevard, according to the sheriff's office.

Detectives believe the two men followed the vehicle around the New Orleans metro area waiting for an opportunity to commit the crime, before smashing the driver's side window in a parking lot and making off with over $100,000.

The victim was supplying money for ATMs in the area, accounting for the large amount of cash in the vehicle, according to police.

Both men are described as white males.  One suspect is 50-60 years old, weighing 170-180 pounds with gray hair, wearing black coat, plaid shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. The other suspect is 30 years old, 5 feet, seven inches tall, with dark hair, wearing a sweat shirt and blue jeans. The men were driving a Dodge Caravan, from 2001-2003, possibly blue in color.

Crimestoppers has raised the reward to $5,000 for anyone with information leading to an arrest. They are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111
