NEW ORLEANS – Two men booked with damaging more than 150 cars by shooting out their windows have been re-booked on 117 additional counts and the damage from their alleged crime spree is now close to $142,000, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Of the additional crimes, 48 were listed as felonies and 69 as misdemeanors.

Christopher Flanagan, 19, and Dacotah Hamilton, 20, are being held in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. Spokesman John Fortunato said the two men confessed to committing a total of 254 vehicle crimes.

More than 160 car windows were shot out in the Oak Forest, Oak Knoll and Hillcrest subdivisions south of Ames Boulevard on both sides of Barataria Boulevard on Christmas Eve 2013.

Sheriff Newell Normand said previously that Flanagan and Hamilton confessed to shooting out the vehicles on three separate days, on Dec. 11, Dec. 18 and Dec. 24.
