KENNER, La. -- Deputies arrested two armed robbery suspects in connection with separate armed robberies this month, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Roderic Lathers, 19, and Jonathan Butler, 23, both face one count of armed robbery.

Butler was arrested earlier in the week, while a follow-up investigation led to the arrest of Lathers.

Surveillance video was used to help identify the two men.

The robberies happened at the Las Villas Grocery in the 3600 block of Division Street in Metairie and at a Stop N Go in the 4300 block of Williams Boulevard in Kenner.
