METAIRIE, La. — A 24-year-old man is being sought by Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s for attempted second-degree murder in relation to a January shooting.

Danny “Noonie” Saulny has a warrant issued for his arrest after authorities said he and a friend entered a 23-year-old woman’s home without her permission demanding her belongings on Jan. 13, according to the sheriff's office.

After the woman complied, authorities said Saulny shot the woman multiple times without a reason at home on Madeira Drive in Avondale.

Saulny is currently on parole for illegal use of a firearm.
