NEW ORLEANS -- Police are on the scene of the city's latest murder.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, a male victim was fatally shot near the Fair Grounds in the 3300 block of Castiglione Street around 7:30 p.m., according to police.
When police arrived on the scene, the 47-year-old victim was found near the intersection of Castiglione and Romlus streets. He had been shot multiple time and was pronounced dead on the scene.
