NEW ORLEANS – A man died Sunday morning after a late-night shooting in Central City sent him to a local hospital.
New Orleans Police said the 21-year-old man, whose identity hasn’t been disclosed, was shot in the 1300 block of South Saratoga Street shortly before midnight. Police said the man was sitting on his steps when someone approached him before opening fire.
He was taken to the hospital where he died hours later.
Investigators are searching for information to identify the man who fired the deadly shot.
