NEW ORLEANS – Police are investigating a 7th Ward homicide, where a male victim was found shot to death inside a vehicle in the 2000 block of North Rocheblave Street, according to NOPD.
Around 7:30 p.m., officers were called to the scene, finding the 29-year-old male victim inside a vehicle.
He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.
A white vehicle was seen fleeing the scene, according to police.
Less than an hour later, Fourth District officers were called to the scene of a homicide in Algiers, according to police.
The victim, a 31-year-old Algiers man, was fatally shot near the intersection of Gen. DeGaulle Boulevard and Woodland Highway, according to police.
When police arrived, the victim was found lying in a parking lot of a Family Dollar suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
Emergency medical technicians were summoned to the scene, and the victim was pronounced dead.
