METAIRIE, La. - A LaPlace resident displaced by Hurricane Isaac was strangled in a Metairie hotel late last week.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman John Fortunato identified the victim as 41-year-old King Honore. Fortunato said Honore was living in the hotel after being displaced by Isaac.
His body was discovered Friday afternoon inside of a room at the LaQuinta hotel on South I-10 Service Road in Metairie.
