NEW ORLEANS -- A man was shot and killed in Gert Town, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Audubon Boulevard and Fig Street around 4:30 p.m.
NOPD spokeswoman Hilal Williams said the victim, an unidentified 31-year-old man, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police haven't determined a suspect or a motive.
