NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are investigating the shooting death of a man in the Sixth Ward on Christmas Eve.
The shooting happened before 3:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of Dumaine Street.
The victim, who hasn't been identified, was pronounced dead on the scene. A handgun was also recovered.
Police haven't released any information on a possible suspect or motive.
