NEW ORLEANS -- Police have identified a man wanted for a burglary at a home in the Warehouse District, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Fazel Gresham, 44, is wanted by police for a burglary in the 300 block of Julia Street, according to police. The burglary occured Sunday around 8:30 p.m.
Gresham was tied to the burglary by NOPD detectives after a witness identified him, according to police.
"Gresham gained entry into the residence by defeating a window. The victim came home and to her surprise she observed Gresham walking out of the bathroom, she screamed and Gresham ran towards the front open door where he made good of his exit. The victim stated Gresham dropped a bag containing her laptop and bottle of vodka," said a statement from the NOPD.
A surveillance video captured Gresham inside the building the day of the burglary.
Detectives identified Gresham as the suspect who stole a mountain bike from the parking garage in July, according to police.
