NEW ORLEANS – Police are investigating a double shooting in Gentilly, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Around 2 a.m., a man and a woman drove up to NOPD officers on the scene of accident at the intersection of Gentilly Boulevard and Eastern Street, according to NOPD spokesman Officer Frank Robertson. The couple told police that they had been shot near the accident.
The man and woman were taken to the hospital and are listed in stable condition, according to Robertson.
Police are working to find the exact location of the shooting and a motive, according to Robertson.
