NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the murder of a 15-year-old boy who was shot and killed at a graduation party Friday.
Zachery Gibson is charged with the second-degree murder of Tremain Robinson, who was gunned down May 23 in the 6200 block of Eads Street at about 11:20 p.m.
Robinson was taking part in a graduation party when he was killed. Seven other people were also wounded.
Detectives were able to pinpoint Gibson, 19, as a suspect in the incident. He was arrested without incident in his home in the 2400 block of Sixth Street at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The NOPD says the investigation is ongoing.
