NEW ORLEANS -- A man has died and another man is injured in a shooting in the Hollygrove neighborhood, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Monroe and Nelson streets after 3:45 p.m.
One of the victims -- a 21-year-old man -- died on the scene. His body was found in a silver Nissan Altima that had crashed into a home in the 8600 block of Nelson Street.
The other suspect, who hasn't been identified, is in stable condition in the hospital with a gunshot wound.
Police are working to determine a suspect and a motive.
