NEW ORLEANS -- Four people have been shot, three of whom were killed in a couple of double shootings in New Orleans Tuesday, according to the NOPD.
The latest shooting occurred around 1:45 p.m. in the 2400 block of Arts Street.
One person, a 19-year-old man, was shot multiple times and died at the scene, and another victim, a 17-year-old woman, was injured when she was grazed by a bullet. There was a report of several gun shot casings on the street.
In the earlier shooting, two people were shot in the 1900 block of Feliciana. Both of those victims were taken to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
The two shootings are about a mile apart, though authorities have not said if they are connected.
