NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are investigating a fatal double shooting Monday evening near Gert Town.
The shooting happened before 9 p.m. near the intersection of Audubon and Fig streets.
NOPD spokesman Officer Garry Flot said one of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Flot said the other victim was shot in the leg, but he did not have information on his condition.
Police haven't released information on a possible suspect or motive.
