NOPD: Three people shot, one killed in separate crimes Sunday night

NEW ORLEANS - Police are investigating a string of shootings Sunday night, including one in the Seventh Ward which left a man dead.
 
In that incident, two men were shot just before 10 p.m. in the 2100 block of St. Anthony, according to Officer Garry Flot, a police spokesman.  One of those men died on the scene. 
 
Earlier, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a man was shot in the 5900 block of Franklin Avenue.  He suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and legs, Flot said. 
 
In a third incident, around 7:15 p.m. Sunday, a man was shot in the 3400 block of Garden Oaks, in Algiers.  He suffered wounds to his side and leg, according to police.
 
Detectives were working to find suspects and motives in all four shootings.
