NEW ORLEANS - Police are investigating two afternoon shootings and one evening shooting.

One of the incidents occurred in the 1000 block of North Carrollton Avenue near City Park. The victim was identified as an adult male. Police said the victim was shot in the neck and chest and that he is in critical condition. Spokesman Garry Flot said that narcotics were found on the scene.

Shortly thereafter a shooting was reported near Green and Monroe Streets. A man was shot in the backside. His condition was unclear.

Later Monday, around 4:45 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot twice in the arm and hip in the 2500 block of Gladiolus Street. His condition was unknown as of 5 p.m.

Around 7:15 p.m., in the 6200 block of North Rampart Street, an unidentified man was shot multiple times, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.
